A message from Patrick Carr of Family&Life:
The official launch of the referendum campaign against the redefinition of marriage in the Irish Constitution takes place tomorrow in Dublin. The launch will be live streamed at noon (1.00 p.m. in most of Western Europe, 7.00 a.m. East Coast US). I hope that many of you will take the opportunity to follow us live (the video will also be available for viewing later).
If Ireland votes Yes on May 22, it will become the first country in the world where the people will have voted to introduce same-sex marriage. It is of the utmost importance, not just for Ireland, but for the pro-marriage cause everywhere that this does not happen. Despite being hugely outspent by the same-sex marriage side and in the face of a uniformly hostile media, our campaign is going well and we remain confident that we can win. But there is a great deal still to be done and we need all the help we can get.
