Victory! Brave Kentucky county clerk is released from prison despite not caving in to “same-sex” tyranny

KimDavis_810_500_55_s_c1Kim Davis, the clerk who bravely refuses to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, has been  released from jail, according to news reports.

Davis had been jailed on “contempt of court” by U.S. District Judge David Bunning on Thursday. But today, Bunning ordered that Davis – who is by now known world-wide as a symbol of judicial tyranny, be released under the condition that she not “interfere in any way” with the issuance of same-sex “marriage” licenses. This is a feeble attempt of the defeated judge to save his face: “not interfere” does not mean that Kim is obliged to herself  issue such sodomy licenses.

On Friday, her staffers began issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. However, Davis says those licenses are invalid, since she did not sign them in her capacity as an elected official. Following today’s order, her counsel said she would continue her refusal to sign or issue any marriage license to same-sex couples that would bear her name and signature.

This is a huge victory, as it opens a (perfectly democratic) way for Americans wishing to block the progress of same-sex “marriages”: simply elect clerks who refuse to cooperate in this absurdity.

Today is the first, and certaily not the last, victory on the path towards a complete overturning of the Supreme Court’s judicial diktat.
