UN appoints “independent expert” to promote its sodomy agenda. Unsurprisingly, he is an extremist.

REUTERS/Denis Balibouse (SWITZERLAND - Tags: POLITICS)The UN Human Rights Council has appointed Vitit Muntarbhorn its first Independent Expert on the protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI)”.

The decision to create such a post had been taken by the HRC by a narrow margin earlier this year – thanks only to the abstention of some members, while only a minority actually voted in favour of the proposal. While there is consensus that justice requires that the law is equal for all, the fight against alleged discriminations of people with sexual identity disorders is often used as a pretext for creating legal and fiscal class privileges for sodomites or, even more absurdly, to undermine the special status that many countries grant to the family based on marriage of a man and a woman, which, as everyone knows, is the best basis for the upbringing of children.

Radical agendas can best be promoted by radical persons disguised as “independent experts”. Readers of this blog will therefore not be surprised to learn that Mr. Muntarbhorn’s main claim to notoriety in the bizarre parallel world of human rights “experts” is that he, together with the equally notorious Michael O’Flaherty (who has since been picked to head the EU’s Fundamental Rights Agency) was the main drafter of the so-called “Yogyakarta Principles“, a document that can with right be described as the biggest and most shameless attempt at manipulating and misrepresenting human rights since the concept came into being.

The main supporters of the controversial candidate were the Member States of the EU, plus some countries that could be arm-twisted because they aspire to join the EU or depend on its development aid.

The promoters of perversion have thus once more succeeded in placing one of their key persons into a very influential position at the UN. It must be expected that, in line with the spirit of the “Yogyakarta Principles”, Mr.  Muntarbhorn will try to misuse his position to bully and harrass all governments that resist the UN bureaucracy’s attempt of “normalizing” sexual deviance.

The best antidote will be to regularly remind the public that as co-author of this radical document he has no credibility as an “independent expert”, and that his opinions must thus be taken for what they really are: radical propaganda that has no basis in any sound moral reasoning.

With this appointment, the UNHRC has done no good service to its own claim to be a guardian of human rights.
