…is a public action to pray for God’s forgiveness for all those who, seduced by their uncontrolled sexual urges, or misled by the propaganda of certain politicians and mass media, have participated in those monstrous manifestations of moral and intellectual decadence, exhibiting themselves in indecent outfits and postures, or applauding those doing so.
It is best to answer insult and provocation not with equal insult and provocation, but with charity and truth, so that those who mistake sexual perversion for “love” can see what love really is. The public “procession for forgiveness and reparation” organized by a small group of Catholics in the Italian city of Reggio nell’Emilia is a small beginning (less advertised by the mass media, and less lavishly funded with taxpayers’ money, than the indecent parades they seek to respond to), but sets an example that hopefully will be followed by many others. And the fact that it has drawn such aggressive and intolerant reactions from the local LGBT pressure groups (which have immediately called for the prohibition of this peaceful prayer event…) just shows that it is spot on.
Once again we have reason to note that the biggest danger for the Rule of Law emanates from judges – from activist judges.
In Florence, the Tribunale dei Minorenni has issued a decision according which the adoption of a child by a same-sex couple in England must automatically be recognized in Italy, where the law does not (yet) allow two sodomites to play “family”. According to the decision, which however has been appealed, Italy is obliged to recognize the English act of adoption, because the latter “is not in contradiction to the public order in Italy”.
This is patent nonsense, and there is no doubt that the judges are fully aware of this. Continue reading
For a couple of years, and at the instigation of the European Union (and its anti-discrimination directives), so called “Equality Bodies” have been mushrooming all around the EU’s Member States, lavishly funded by taxpayers who mostly don’t even know about their existence. One such Body is called UNAR, “Ufficio antidiscriminazioni razziali”. It is directly attached to the Italian Prime Minister’s Office and, as its name says, its stated mission is to fight “racism”. But it does so mostly by generously handing out money grants to all kinds of NGOs claiming to “fight discriminations”, including same-sex pressure groups, without taking a close look at how that money is spent. As it has now emerged, part of it was actually used not even for the financing of LGBT political activism, but directly for the financing of a homosexual brothel (involving gay orgies, prostitution, etc.).
The Prime Minister’s Office reacted by stressing its “respect for the role, and the work accomplished by, UNAR, which has been set up in the context of the implementation of EU Directive 2000/43 against all Forms of Discrimination“. The money used for the gay orgies has not yet been recovered.
Sign the petition to shut down UNAR.
The European Court of Human Rights will be delivering a Grand Chamber judgment in the case of Paradiso and Campanelli v. Italy (application no. 25358/12) at a public hearing on 24 January 2017.
The Chamber decision, whose cancellation and referral to the Grand Chamber was granted following a request by the Italian government, is arguably one of the most glaringly perverse decisions ever delivered by the Court, in whose history there certainly is no shortage of bizarre activist decisions with no basis in the law. Now that same-sex “marriage” has been legalized in a number of Western countries in the name of “equality” and “diversity”, it appears only logical that politicians will soon cede to claims from the Muslim community that polygamy must be legalized as well. Continue reading
With 372 against 51 votes (and 99 abstentions) the Italian Parliament has adopted a law creating the possibility for same-sex couples with perverse sexual inclinations to conclude so-called “civil unions” that are assimilated, albeit not equal, to marriage.
Italy was until now the last major country in Western Europe not to have caved in, in some way or the other, to the demands of the fashionable homo-lobby that society should recognize their sexual perversions as worthy of celebration, legal protection, and possibly fiscal privilege. Nicola “Nicky” Vendola, an Italian leftwing (formerly Communist) politician and LGBT activist who was President of Apulia from 2005 to 2015, is aspiring to “found a family”. Together with his same-sex “life partner” Eddy Testa, a man 20 years his junior, he has decided to use the services of a Canadian surrogate mother. Continue reading
