EU Commissioner hate-bombed by Lesbian Gay Bullying Totalitarians (LGBT)

The over-the-top outrage expressed by leftist liberal media outlets and Members of the European Parliament over a few harmless, if ill-judged, jokes cracked by German EU Commissioner Günther Oettinger recently, points to something more sinister behind this veritable hate-bombing of the clumsy Eurocrat. Mr Oettinger has subsequently issued an apology for any offence he might have given by his unscripted speech at a private dinner that was secretly recorded and put on the internet. LIBE supports Sophie In ‘t Veld’s radical “Rule-of-Law-Mechanism”. But don’t worry.

sophie in t veldThe European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), which is reputed for being dominated by MEPs with radical left-leaning worldviews, has adopted the so-called “In ‘t Veld-Report” on a new “Rule-of-Law-Mechanism”.

Seasoned observers of the EP will anticipate that a report to which Sophie in ‘t Veld, a prominent Dutch Feminist-Abortion-Sodomy-Radical with a profound hatred of Europe’s cultural heritage and identity, gives her name must be one with a singularly bizarre content. And indeed, the draft matches this expectation: Continue reading “LIBE supports Sophie In ‘t Veld’s radical “Rule-of-Law-Mechanism”. But don’t worry.”

Sophie in ‘t Veld’s bizarre proposal for a “Rule-of-Law” mechanism

sophie in t veldOne of the reasons the EU is so unpopular with most citizens is that many politicians, mediocre though they may be, once they have made it into one of the EU institutions seem to develop a superiority complex: they believe that they are now somehow superior to all national parliaments and governments, and entitled to control and censure them.

One particularly colourful specimen of this mistaken self-perception is a new initiative, spear-headed by the Dutch Liberal MEP Sophie In ‘t Veld, pushing for “the establishment of an EU mechanism on democracy, the rule of law and fundamental rights”. Ex-Commissioner Bolkestein: “Take the Equality Directive off the Agenda”

The controversial Commission proposal for a horizontal “Equal Treatment Directive”, also known as “Anti-Discrimination Directive”, apparently fails to convince Frits Bolkestein, a former EU Commissioner for the Interior Market and former leader of the Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (VVD). In an op-ed in today’s edition of the daily De Volkskrant (English translation here), Bolkestein calls for the proposal to be ditched. Not only, writes the Ex-Commissioner, does the proposed measure fail to comply with the Subsidiarity Principle, which is a fundamental principle of the EU,  but it also undermines equality rather than promoting it, giving a better standard of protection to Salafists and members of the Moon Sect than to ordinary Dutchmen. In addition, he warns that the directive, if adopted, would be at odds with elementary standards of fairness, reversing the burden of proof and establishing a ‘guilty-unless-proved-innocent’ principle. Finally, he is also concerned that it could be used for frivolous and extortionary litigation, as evidenced by a recent case in Northern Ireland that has made headlines all over Europe. Forensic examination shows: Planned Parenthood baby-selling videos are authentic.

Thomson-ReutersA-sign-is-pictuPlanned Parenthood’s claim that video footage showing evidence of its gruesome practice of selling body parts of aborted children is false has been refuted. Forensic examination has shown that the videos have not been tampered with, and that the Planned Parenthood representatives appearing on them have indeed said what they are shown to have said.  Another disaster for the world’s most successful mass-killing organization. European Parliament: while pro-life exhibition is deemed “too controversial”, IPPF is welcome

Screen-shot-2013-04-05-at-1.52.54-PMStrange double standards seem to be prevailing at the European Parliament. While a photo exhibition seeking to draw attention to the sad reality of abortion, the main cause of death in Europe for people below 65, was not allowed to take place because it was deemed “too controversial” and “provocative”, there is apparently nothing that would prevent the world’s biggest baby-butchering business, Planned Parenthood,  from organizing an event on the Parliament’s premises.
